	Pest Management Features of municipal pesticide bylaws "About municipal pesticide by-laws", a 3-page article on what municipalities can, could and cannot prohibit regarding pesticide use within their jurisdiction, including a short review of the decision by the Supreme Court of Canada in 2003. Published in February 2010 in "HortWest", the magazine of B.C. Landscape Nursery Association.

	Monitoring calendar for pests of ornamental plants in the Okanagan "Monitoring Calendar For Insect Pests Of Ornamental Plants In The Okanagan Valley, British Columbia" An 11-page text on seasonal appearance of insect pests based on monitoring data from a 10-year period. Prepared in 2001 for publication in the "B.C. Nursery & Landscape Pest Management & Production Guide".

	Indicator plants *"Using Plant Phenology To Monitor Insect Pests Of Landscape Plants"* An 8-page article on the link between plant and insect development. Prepared in 2001 for publication in the "B.C. Nursery & Landscape Pest Management & Production Guide".

	Surviving a pesticide ban: The Ontario experience A 2-page article reporting on a public meeting of lawn care companies held in Toronto in January 2010 discussing new programs following the 2009 provincial legislation restricting pesticide use for cosmetic purposes. Published in March 2010 in "HortWest", the magazine of B.C. Landscape Nursery Association.

	Pesticides safety *"Pesticides Safety: The Continuum Of Opinions"* A 5-page document on the safe use of pesticides including a statement reflecting the position of our company (see under "conclusion"). Published in January 2010 in "Turf Line News", the magazine of the Western Canada Turfgrass Association.

	Pest Management Ash borer in Western Canada "The Ash Borer Podosesia syringae (Lepidoptera:Sesiidae): the morph fraxini as a new pest of nurseries in Western Canada" Results from field monitoring in nurseries in British Columbia and Southern Alberta. Presented in 2008 in Edmonton, Alberta at the annual meeting of the Entomological Society of Alberta. Spruce spider mites *"Biology And Management Of Spruce Spider Mites"* A 2-page article on life cycle and management of spruce spider mites., Published in October 2003 in "Arborist News", the magazine of the ISA. Mulches for weed control in nursery production "Influence of Container Mulches on Irrigation and Nutrient Management" Authored by Dr. James Altland (Oregon State University) and Mario Lanthier Published in 2007 in the Journal of Environmental Horticulture Mulches for weed control in nursery production "Non-chemical weed control with mulches and disks for nursery container production" Results from field trials in commercial nurseries with various commercial mulches and disks. Presented in 2006 in Victoria, B.C. at the annual meeting of the Canadian Weed Science Society.
	IPM for Landscapes A 1993 publication that reviews methods successfully used by landscape managers in British Columbia.

	Plant Health Care Nutrient Deficiencies Brochure on nutrient deficiencies of landscape plants Colour pictures of common nutrient deficiencies in landscape plants. Presented in Kelowna, B.C. in October 2009 at the annual training meeting of the ISA-PNW (Pacific NorthWest chapter of the International Society of Arboriculture). Roots "Roots of Change for the Better" A 3-page document by Dr. Edward Gilman, University of Florida, published in 2009 in "Arborist News", the magazine of ISA (International Society of Arboriculture). The same material was presented in October 2009 in Kelowna, B.C. at the Annual Training Meeting of the ISA-PNW (International Society of Arboriculture, Pacific NorthWest chapter.

	Mycorrhizal fungi for plant propagation "Mycorrhizal Fungi: Impact of Commercial Products in Nursery Propagation" A 13-page text presenting results from field trials over many years. Presented in 2006 in Coquitlam, B.C. at the Western Region meeting of the IPPS (International Plant Propagator's Society).
